JSC "Fortera" was founded in 1995. Company offers a wide range of artificial surfaces for basketball and football grounds, tennis courts, running tracks, hockey, golf grounds, and other sport and recreation facilities.

All coatings have quality and conformity certificates, applicable in European Union.

JSC "Fortera" have all the necessary licenses, allowing it, as main contractors to engage in construction activities and is regularly attested by the Environment Ministry of Lithuania.

JSC "Fortera" carry out orders of various sports organizations. Here is a list of important sport facilities that were installed in cooperation with:

• JSC "Fortera " together with the Lithuanian municipalities is involved in the program sponsored by European Football Federation (UEFA) and the Lithuanian Sport Department for installing small artificial surface football sites. These sites are not only for football fans, other sports such as volleyball, handball, basketball can be played too;
• FIFA, UEFA, LFA - Football sports center in Kaunas, Ausros G;
• Lithuanian Sports Department – artificial turf in "Sportima" football hall in Vilnius;
• NBA and the Support Fund of Lithuanian men's basketball team - a basketball court in Šeškinė secondary school, Vilnius;
• International and Lithuanian Olympic Committees and Lithuanian hockey Federation - Šiauliai hockey fields.

During its lifetime JSC "Fortera" has installed more than 35 thousand sq. m. of tennis courts, about 250 thousand sq. m. of football fields, 20 thousand sq. m. of basketball courts, 50 thousand sq. m. of universal playgrounds.
